Reduce the Material Costs of Your Thermoplastic Products by 75% or More
PARTNERING WITH MANUFACTURERS WORLDWIDE, MicroGREEN IS LICENSING OUR PATENTED EXPANDED PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY FOR ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS.
Our expansion foam process
Our patented solid-state microcellular plastics technology reduces the amount of plastic used in an application by creating microscopic bubbles in common thermoplastics. Similar to a honeycomb, this increases the material’s volume while maintaining the required strength. MicroGREEN's process significantly increases yield and lowers material cost by 75% and more.
Benefits for your manufacturing process:
- Lighter Weight. High-yield process uses as little as 10% of the material required to form traditional solid plastic products.
- Use 100% Recycled Material. Produce products using up to 100% recycled plastic. Reduce your material cost and re-process your trimmings.
- Heat Resistant. Certain thermoplastics withstand higher temperatures after processing (up to 400°F).
- Smooth Surface. Process creates closed cells and the material has a naturally forming ‘skin’. Get a smooth finish without extra processing or additives.
- Adaptable to Your Line. A retrofit with our patented process can utilize much of your existing production line.
License our technology
This new technology is protected by patents in the US, Europe and Japan and other pending patents worldwide. MicroGREEN is seeking to license this process to manufacturers around the world.
We invite you to tour this website to explore our technology and its potential. If you would like to learn more, we’d like to hear from you.
